Wednesday, June 21st
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
*11:30am (Approximately 2 hrs)
Tillicum Middle School Gym

  • All students (6th through 8th grade) will attend first period as normal. 7:45am is the start time for ALL students.
  • 8th graders should come to school in their promotion attire.
  • 8th graders will follow a modified schedule that will be explained to them on 6/21.
  • Parents should arrive in enough time to park and get seated in the gym. Seating will be between 11:10 – 11:30am. With the Ceremony starting at 11:30.
  • There will not be tickets being handed out. We don’t anticipate problems with seating but families should be mindful of how many people will attend if it is over 2. There is no need to email Ms. Nash or Ms. Williams.
  • TMS 6th and 7th grade siblings may attend but please follow all
  • TMS attendance procedures to pull them out of class.
  • We will have a Teams live stream link that we will send out as we get closer to the event.
  • Parents should park in the front lot, back lot, you could use parking at Lake Hills Park and street parking. We CANNOT park in the bus zone area since the end of promotion is very near the time when buses arrive for the end of the day.
  • Since we have a quick turn around time between the end of promotion and the end of the day, we encourage all 8th grade families to gather their promoted 8th grader and enjoy the rest of their day. 😊
