When they were young, they talked all the time.  But now that they are teens, it can be challenging to get them to open up.  Developmentally, teens are facing physical, mental and emotional challenges.  Find out what you can say, and when to say it as your teen tackle these challenges.  Let's learn about ways we can encourage good communication with our teens.  

Cora Collette Breuner, MD, MPH, is member of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.  She is president of the Northwest Society of Adolescent Medicine and faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is an active participant in the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves on the Committee for Adolescence and the PREP academic board review course for Adolescent Medicine.
